Mammography Technologist (Mammographer)We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging procedures while providing exceptional patient care in a professional and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures according to established protocolsEnsure high-quality imaging for accurate interpretation by radiologistsPrepare and position patients for procedures while maintaining patient comfort and dignityEducate patients on exam procedures and answer questions as neededMaintain accurate patient records and documentationFollow radiation safety and infection control guidelinesOperate and maintain mammography equipmentAssist with quality assurance and quality control proceduresCollaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient careQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programARRT certification in Radiography requiredARRT Mammography certification preferred or required depending on facilityState licensure as requiredPrior mammography experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSchedule & Compensation:Full-time opportunityDay shift scheduleCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package offered
