MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist (Full-Time). Responsibilities Work under the direction of the Department Director/Manager/Lead to perform diagnostic mammography imaging. Ensure patient safety by following established protocols. Serve as the primary interface with patients during their mammogram. Perform other duties as assigned. Certified Mammographer through the ARRT. Graduate from an approved school in radiologic technology. Current ARRT certification in radiology and mammography. Current BLS certification, maintained in accordance with the AHA Healthcare Provider's Program curriculum. Ability to operate a mammography unit and perform screening and diagnostic mammograms. Familiarity with breast biopsies. Strong critical‑thinking skills to ensure proper procedures are performed. Knowledge of medical terminology. Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and accreditation requirements. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public. Mathematical proficiency, including basic arithmetic, rate, ratio, percent, and graph interpretation. Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and solve practical problems in dynamic situations. Knowledge of and compliance with regulatory bodies such as The Joint Commission, ACR, and Title 22 standards. Adherence to hospital policies and procedures at all times. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact professionally with clinical personnel, medical staff, and the public. Basic knowledge of PC and related applications.
