Senior IT Integration Services Engineer

Location: Cleveland, OHCleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior IT Integration Services Engineer (ITISE) to join our IT team. This role provides technical knowledge for integration between On-Premise, SaaS, Vendor B2B, and Cloud Applications. These include Oracle SOA, Microsoft BizTalk, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, and other technologies. This role will help to develop and support the strategy of growth and standard implementation of Enterprise Applications through the expansion of the usage of Oracle SOA for data transfers and transformations.Summary of ResponsibilitiesDesigns, develops and documents programs, scripts, procedures, interfaces and system configuration.Provides technical and analytical guidance for applications and associated layered products, including vendor interactions.Provides application analysis and review of existing or proposed solutions, considering functionality, integration, security, scalability and performance requirements.Performs troubleshooting using critical thinking skills and performs root cause analysis.Participates in the evaluation and selection process for application packages.Develops an understanding of how the application of technology supports and optimizes business processes.Develops and executes test scripts. Assists in the development of overall test plans for projects. Assists in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive test suite for target applications.Provides input into technical standards.Assists in system patches and upgrades.Skills in IT integration technologies (i.e. Oracle SOA Suite, BizTalk, BizLink, etc.)Conducts evaluations of technology as required in support of business initiatives.Supports the development of future technology direction and strategy.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in an IT or related Engineering field or equivalent work experienceOracle SOA Suite (Version 11g and newer)Knowledge of integration services or middleware technologies, preferably in the steel industry10+ years of technical experience including:Coding, configuration and solution developmentSpecifications developmentApplications supportDetailed application analysisCustomer interactionContingency and disaster recovery testingRespond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines in production environmentsDemonstrated skills in organization, prioritization, time-management, and decision-makingUnderstanding of XML, XSLT, SOAP, XML Schemas and WSDL conceptsKnowledge of database design including the ability to write complex queriesSound mastery of Microsoft Office Tools suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and VisioExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to be on-site at assigned locationPreferred QualificationsVisual Studio (Version 2019 and newer) IBM ACE, IIBThe salary range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000.  An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.  Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
