Job Description

VIP staffing is Immediately hiring a detail-oriented, highly organized individual who is eager to grow within a dynamic, mission-driven manufacturing environment.

Position Title: Production Scheduling Assistant.

This is a Full time, Temp To hire position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm.

Pay for this position is $20-$22 per hour.

As a Production Scheduling Assistant you will:

Assist in developing and maintaining daily production schedules based on forecasts, inventory levels and lead times.
Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure efficient, feasible production plans.
Monitor production progress and identify delays or workflow bottlenecks.
Update ERP systems and production boards with real-time scheduling changes and data.
Participate in process improvement initiatives around scheduling, workflow optimization, and capacity planning.
Generate work orders and shift-specific documentation based on the approved production schedule.
Attend and drive cross-department planning/scheduling related meetings.

Production Scheduling Assistant candidates must meet the following requirements for Consideration:

High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field (preferred).
1+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or production planning.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data entry skills.
Expert organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain flexible in a dynamic production environment.

Preferred but not required Skills:

Experience in solar or renewable energy manufacturing.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
