At Merakey, we put our heart and soul into everything we do.We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in our Escondido, CA location.2nd Shift Position – Sunday-Thursday - 2pm-10pmEarn $38/Hour -$40/Hour – Depending on experience.The LVN provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and ensures implementation of physician orders, coordination of medical appointments, and continuity of care for individuals with complex medical needs. This is a structured, team-based environment where nurses are supported and empowered to deliver high-quality care.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement program policy and procedure according to program regulations and guidelines.Provides overall medical support to individuals who receive services to include scheduling medical appointments and follow-up as needed.Works closely with Program Director and Administrator to ensure health and safety of individuals receiving services.Provides on-site medical support to individuals.Represent Merakey at all external meetings, conferences, etc. as assigned.Be knowledgeable and adhere to program regulations, assisting in preparation for annual licensure as applicable.Maintain frequent contact with family members, as deemed appropriate.Maintain frequent contact with external stakeholders as needed.May perform other related duties when assigned or required.QualificationsLVN/LPN Active CA license in good standingValid driver's license.1 year experience in long-term care, developmental services, or skilled nursing preferredStrong organizational and documentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentThe position is responsible for overall medical needs of assigned individuals in our Intellectual Developmental Disability residential programs.BenefitsDailyPay -- access your pay when you need it!Retirement plan -- both pre-tax and Roth (after-tax) options available for employee contributions.Voluntary limited benefits offered through the American Worker.
