Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic Medical Surgical unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient conditions, responses to treatment, and progress toward goals
• Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in orthopedic nursing or an orthopedic Med Surg unit
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
