Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel About the unit: MEDSURG - ORTHO Number of Beds - 36 Number of Staff –75 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge, 8 RNs, 3 PCTs, 1 Unit clerk Night Shift – 1 Charge, 8 RNs, 3 PCTs Patient Ratios – 5-6:1 Type of equipment – traction, external fixators, halos, walkers, gait belts, bed alarms, continuous pulse ox, remote telemetry monitoring EMR – Meditech Requirements Minimum 1-year current acute care MedSurg hospital experience BLS certification This position is open to local candidates as well.
