Driver/Patient Transportation Coordinator

Transportation Coordinator

The Transportation Coordinator picks up and delivers geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible through clinics, home visits and more. Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire.
Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
5 years of Driving experience

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years Driving experience, which includes:
- Driving a large passenger van or small bus.
- 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs.
1 year Experience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
