Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and an in-depth review of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical cases via the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance by preparing OR setups, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-surgical care, covering medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
