Job Title: RN Manager - Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery
Schedule: Full-Time | Days | No Weekends Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic RN Manager - Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery to lead and oversee the Cardiac Observation, ECHO, and Stress Testing departments. This leadership role is responsible for the overall clinical, operational, financial, and personnel management of the assigned service areas. The Nurse Manager serves as a professional role model and clinical resource, ensuring the highest standards of patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Schedule: Full-Time | Days | No Weekends Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic RN Manager - Cardiovascular Prep & Recovery to lead and oversee the Cardiac Observation, ECHO, and Stress Testing departments. This leadership role is responsible for the overall clinical, operational, financial, and personnel management of the assigned service areas. The Nurse Manager serves as a professional role model and clinical resource, ensuring the highest standards of patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and daily operational oversight for Cardiac Observation, ECHO, and Stress Testing services.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care across the continuum of cardiovascular services.
- Manage departmental budgets and maintain fiscal accountability.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Recruit, hire, orient, and retain qualified staff.
- Oversee staff performance evaluations, professional development, and ongoing education.
- Address employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate departmental goals, updates, and initiatives effectively to staff.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license accepted if applicable)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within one year of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a related clinical setting
- Strong background in Cardiology and/or Critical Care required
- Experience leading ICU or cardiovascular teams preferred
