EMT or Paramedic – PRN job at Medcor (Goodyear, AZ) Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis (as‑needed) to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Goodyear, Arizona. The position hours are 7am–5pm with occasional Saturdays, and hours may vary or change based on client needs. Applicants should be comfortable working in a construction environment, able to climb stairs, and work at heights as needed. Why Medcor? Stability! Medcor has been around since 1984. Job Responsibilities The role involves collaboration with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Day‑to‑day duties include: Patient care and assessment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (MCPs). Ongoing workers’ compensation case management and Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation. Documentation of care using a state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools. Physical Assessment Testing (PATs), OSHA record‑keeping, and medical charting. Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts. Building and maintaining internal team relationships. A Typical Day in the Life of an Onsite Health Technician Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Perform assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses. Support and collaborate with outside medical providers. Qualifications Valid licensure for the position being applied for. Current CPR/BLS certification. Physical ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation and positive, outgoing personality. Passion for people and delivering high‑quality care. Motivation to go above and beyond. Preferred Comfortable working in a construction environment. Proficiency with computers and familiarity with EMR software. Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
