Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Mason, OH Type: Contract Work Model: Onsite – onsite Overview Global consumer goods company looking to hire entry level Lab Technician to their team. Must bring a BS Degree and prior experience within hair care products is highly preferred! Responsibilities Support the formulation, testing, and development of innovative shampoo and hair care products. Prepare prototype shampoo formulas following specific laboratory batch records. Measure pH, viscosity, density, and solid content of experimental batches. Track raw materials, chemicals, and laboratory supplies to ensure zero downtime. Operate and maintain mixers, viscometers, pH meters, and laboratory scales. Record precise experimental data, stability observations, and test results in lab notebooks. Monitor product samples under various temperature and light conditions over time. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized laboratory environment according to safety protocols. Requirements Degree in related discipline (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or equivalent work experience Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials and substances Skilled in the use of laboratory equipment, ability to create and analyze statistical calculations and prepare reports System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
