RN – Labor & Delivery (Contract)

Location: California 95422
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Start: ASAP
Pay: $2,716 – $3,040/week

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (primarily nights)

• 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Occasional day shift coverage as needed

• 36 or 48 hours/week available

• Every other weekend required

• No call / No floating

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide L&D, postpartum, and newborn (0–28 days) care

• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document accurately

• Assist with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care

• Stabilize newborns and respond to emergencies

• Administer medications, IVs, and monitor fetal status

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and educate families

• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and documentation standards

Requirements

• Active California RN license

• 3–4 years Labor & Delivery experience (required)

• Strong labor + postpartum experience required

• Experience with newborn stabilization required

• Graduate of accredited nursing program

Certifications

• Required: BLS, NRP

• Preferred/Required within 6 months: ACLS, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
