Job Summary Responsible for providing expertise pertaining to fleet operations within and across Core & Main. Manage data from various sources and ensure data integrity. Analyze data and provide ongoing updates for vendor and departmental system and projects. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Provides daily administration of maintenance, fuel, registration, subrogation and collision programs. Coordinates the procurement, inspection, assignment, maintenance, repair and disposal of company‑wide fleet. Coordinates vehicle and equipment transfers. Drives documentation process and evaluates information pertaining to fleet. Arranges for maintenance and repair of transportation vehicles and for replacement units while vehicles are being repaired. Compiles and analyzes data; prepares reports and makes recommendations. Conducts research on industry trends and benchmarks and reports out to management. Provides input on policies and procedures related to fleet management. Conducts or participates in safety training and ensures compliance with safety regulations. Provides support for ad hoc requests, projects and assignments for internal customers and vendors, as needed. Preferred Experience Familiarity with financial concepts and terminologies used in business. Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline; certification may be required in some areas. Generally, 0‑2 years of experience in a related field or an MS/MA with generally 0‑1 year of experience in a related field.
