Inventory Coordinator

Job Responsibilities Ordering test bench supply replenishment Identifying old/new lots of reagents and calibrators for department Documenting and maintaining records of all reagent/calibrator inventory Following appropriate storage criteria for reagents Disinfecting bench area and documenting as required Completing and tracking Iron Mountain boxes Receiving and sorting clinical lab specimens Preparing specimens for testing and analysis Scanning and/or data entry of specimen and patient information Ensuring all lab equipment is working properly and performing minor instrumentation maintenance Troubleshooting specimen-related issues Replenishing test bench supplies as needed Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Completing record logs and other administrative duties as requested Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications 3 months or more of experience working with lab reagents 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience Additional Job Standards Comfortable handling biological specimens Ability to accurately identify specimens Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment High level of attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment and meet established turn‑around times Strong communication skills—both written and verbal Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs Pay Range $17.75‑$20.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on the candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees or certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Benefits Comprehensive benefits for employees working 20 or more hours per week, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees working less than 20 hours per week are eligible only for the 401(k) plan. Employees scheduled on a 7 on/7 off shift are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
