Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Stepdown unit provides direct and indirect patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective nursing services tailored to cardiac patients requiring intermediate care. The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans, utilizing advanced clinical skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' medical history, vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic tests upon admission.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, document clinical observations, and communicate updates to the care team.
• Educate patients and families on their condition, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License.
• Possess at least 3 years of prior nursing experience, with strong MS/Telemetry expertise.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is also required.
• Demonstrate excellent mathematical, analytical, and clinical skills.
• Exhibit strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
