Unit Secretary - 24 hours days, Emergency Room

Unit SecretaryAt Johnson Memorial Hospital the Unit Secretary is responsible for coordinating patient flow on the unit and provides clerical support to the unit.What you will do:Coordinate patient flow on the unitProcess patient ordersPrepares and disassembles patient chartsPrepares forms and documents required for patient careCommunicates unit related and/or patient related needs to other departments and healthcare team membersRequest and obtain supplies and equipmentAnswer phones and greeting visitorsMinimum Qualifications:Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
