4x10s (Monday through Thursday, either 8 am - 6 pm or 7 am - 5 pm)

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons, maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients. The therapist will evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs and participate in discharge planning. Additional duties include performing administrative tasks and participating in performance improvement initiatives while pursuing professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and modify treatment programs as needed.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Perform required administrative duties and documentation.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BS in Occupational Therapy or higher.
• Active AZ Occupational Therapy license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working independently.
