Construction Inspector (Part-Time)

Pennoni is hiring! In particular, we are looking for a Construction Inspector to contribute to our Municipal Infrastructure projects on a part-time, direct basis in the Haddon Heights, NJ area. Hours: Monday - Friday (First Shift) Primary Responsibilities Perform construction inspections and material testing for stormwater management facilities, roads, land developments, wastewater collection & conveyance systems, water distribution & treatment facilities, as well as other infrastructure. Perform constructability plan reviews. Assist with construction administration. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed. Basic Requirements High School Diploma (or equivalent). At least two years of professional experience working in Field-based roles, preferably in Construction. This person will be expected to work in the field, so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver's License. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in an Engineering or technical field of study (especially Civil Engineering Technology) is a plus! Experience working with Municipal Infrastructure / Wet Utility projects is a plus! Proficiency with basic computer programs, especially with MS-Office (e.g.: Word, Outlook, etc.), is expected; exposure to technical programs (especially ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation) is a plus! Strong analytical skills. Strong attention-to-detail skills with the proven ability to work with a high-level of accuracy. Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
