Inbound Freight Associate
Join our dedicated team as an Inbound Freight Associate at our bustling fulfillment center in Columbus, OH! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by handling materials efficiently. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you!
Safely operate warehouse equipment: Utilize machinery for moving and handling products while adhering to safety protocols and completing pre-inspection checklists.
Efficiently unload inbound freight: Accurately unload shipments, ensuring timely processing and organization of materials.
Quality control: Inspect shipments for accuracy and damages to maintain inventory integrity.
Outbound order fulfillment: Dynamically pick, pack, and load outbound freight orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery to our customers.
Dock-to-stock processing: Ensure that materials are put away from dock to stock within a 24-48 hour timeframe.
Maintain a clean work environment: Keep your work area organized and safe while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Cross-departmental support: Collaborate with other departments as needed, contributing to a cohesive and efficient team environment.
Physically able to stand, walk, and lift items weighing 10-50 lbs.
Previous experience with warehouse equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and a teamwork-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
