Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hammond, LA for Divers and Tenders working across different locations. Team members will support underwater projects including inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of marine structures and vessels, following established safety procedures and operational protocols. Divers will perform underwater tasks such as cutting, welding, installation, and documentation of findings, while Tenders will assist with topside support, equipment handling, communications, and dive preparation. Daily responsibilities include preparing and maintaining diving gear, participating in safety briefings, recording job information and inspection data, and traveling to various work sites as required. All personnel are expected to collaborate closely with supervisors and project managers to meet client specifications, adhere to regulatory standards, and complete assignments efficiently in varying marine environments. Qualifications Professional diving skills, including experience with commercial or industrial diving operations and safe underwater work practices. Knowledge of underwater inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair techniques for vessels and marine structures. Ability to operate and support dive-related tools and equipment, including topside support systems and communication gear. Strong commitment to safety, familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, and adherence to company safety policies. Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and coordinate with divers, tenders, and supervisors. Physical fitness suitable for demanding marine and underwater environments, including lifting, confined spaces, and variable weather conditions. Willingness to travel to different job sites and work flexible hours as project needs require. Relevant certifications such as commercial diving credentials; additional training in underwater welding, inspection, or ROV support is a plus.
