Role Overview RealSelf is looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to own our external paid advertising and internal brand advertising programs. Taking on this role means owning the strategy all the way through hands‑on execution, optimizing campaigns for performance and ROAS. Reporting to the Data Analytics Lead, you'll partner closely with Sales, Brand Partnerships, and Product to turn performance data into sharper creative, targeting, and spend decisions. This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership individual contributor role for someone who enjoys testing, iterating, and scaling what works. $130,000 - $145,000 a year Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across paid channels to drive provider leads and consumer acquisition Own and manage a robust monthly paid media budget, allocating spend to maximize performance Stay current on platform updates, auction dynamics, and healthcare ad industry best practices Develop and run a testing roadmap of ad creative, audience targeting, bidding, and landing page experiments to hone strategy and boost performance. Design tests that can be read cleanly, with holdouts, matched cohorts, and controlled rollouts Own ad measurement and reporting, giving stakeholders performance insights to inform broader business strategy Consistently monitor results, proactively mitigating risks and taking advantage of emerging opportunities Manage our own RealSelf.com brand ad inventory and campaign execution, with the same eye for optimizing creative, placements, and performance Partner with Product to test new RealSelf ad types and landing pages that drive revenue and brand ROI Requirements 5–7+ years of hands‑on experience managing paid search and paid social campaigns, ideally in a consumer or two‑sided marketplace business Deep, current expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads Manager, including bid strategy, creative, and audience targeting Ability to leverage AI‑assisted solutions to accelerate outputs and deepen analysis, without compromising quality Track record of managing significant monthly ad budgets and consistently improving ROAS Excellent project management skills and comfort driving multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment NYC‑based (Hybrid) Bonus Qualities Experience with performance marketing in additional paid channels such as YouTube, TikTok or Pinterest Experience with two‑sided marketplaces Familiarity with the aesthetics, healthcare, or wellness industry and consumer Hands‑on SQL skills Perks & Benefits You’ll work alongside our world‑class team to build awareness of a product that empowers millions of people around the world to become their best self Health benefits: We offer comprehensive benefits for medical, dental, and vision 100% paid for by RealSelf at the employee level Work‑life balance: Enjoy paid time off, including no work on your birthday and Summer Fridays, as well as generous leave options for life events such as becoming a parent 401(k) matching: Plan for your financial future and take advantage of our 401(k) plan with a company match Treatment reimbursement: At RealSelf, we encourage our team to walk in our audience’s shoes.
