About the Role The Opportunity: Focus on Clinical Excellence This position is designed for clinicians who are passionate about clinical work and desire the independence of a private practice without the burden of administrative and business headaches. Your Primary Focus: Your job is straightforward: show up, see your clients, and take notes. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week. What We Offer Meridian Counseling handles the business side, providing a supportive infrastructure for professional growth, financial stability, and team connection. Financial Details: Clinical rates are between $40–$45 per session. Administrative work is compensated at $20 per hour. Private pay rates vary based on what the client is paying. Opportunity for bonus pay through our incentive program. Administrative Relief: Meridian handles all administrative duties, including billing, credentialing, marketing, and providing office space. Client referrals (both private pay and insurance-based) are guaranteed to help meet your financial goals. Professional Development & Community: Growth: Registered Psychological Associates receive group and triadic supervision, access to CEU training, professional development opportunities, and clinical growth resources dedicated to up-leveling your skills. Connection: Participate in monthly consultations with our clinical team and monthly team events that foster genuine connection (e.g., training, workshops, volleyball, hikes, game nights, etc.). Minimum Qualifications Registered or able to register as a Psychological Associate with the California Board of Psychology Board approval must be obtained prior to beginning supervision. Ability to commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week. Eligibility to become credentialed with insurance panels. Attendance at all required training and supervision sessions. Preferred Qualifications Currently enrolled or graduated from an APA accredited PhD/ PsyD/ EdD program for Clinical Psychology. Experience working with trauma, mood disorders, addiction, families, and couples. Training in modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or EMDR is preferred.
