BARISTA (FULL TIME)

Position Title: BARISTA (Full Time) Location: Microsoft - 15550 NE Turing Street, Redmond, WA 98052 (Online applications accepted) Schedule: Monday - Friday, day shift. Pay: $30.75 per hour, Full Union Benefits. Job Summary Make and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Follow HACCP guidelines and quality standards. Interact with customers and colleagues in a friendly manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes. Enter orders accurately into POS device; accept cash and charge payments. Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area. Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards. Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils. Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards. Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service. Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area. Greets customers courteously and interact to ensure satisfaction; relay concerns to supervisors. Serve customers quickly, efficiently and prevent delays in serving lines. Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers. Assist customers with selling techniques and help them in buying decisions. Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards and serve food neatly and attractively. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of barista experience is preferred. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
