Overview Bring your enthusiasm and customer service excellence to the Queen Bee as a Barista, where you’ll contribute to a fun and welcoming work environment. Responsibilities Passion for providing exceptional service; connect with customers, learn names and food/beverage preferences, prioritize customers over tasks, and provide service recovery when needed. Prepare food and beverages quickly and according to recipe; correctly customize orders as requested. Maintain proper inventory control of products; day‑dot applicable products, rotate using FIFO method, and track waste as needed. Describe product details to customers and suggest items as appropriate to increase sales. Keep the café stocked, clean, and organized. Clean and sanitize all equipment, utensils, dishes, work areas, and seating areas. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Communicate positively with teammates and customers. Manage time effectively and uphold attendance and punctuality standards. Show flexibility with schedule and willingness/ability to work weekends, holidays, and events to meet business needs. Handle cash correctly and accurately manage the till; ring in products correctly. Utilize tools and systems provided by management to effectively complete job requirements. Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated passion for Aegis mission orientation. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge in all areas of beverage and food preparation and production. Knowledge and adherence to local health department, OSHA, WA State Liquor Board and other regulatory agency guidelines. Capable of reading, communicating, and producing published recipes.
