Key Responsibilities for Mailroom Clerk :
- Sort and distribute incoming interoffice and U.S. mail .
- Accept and deliver incoming packages (UPS, FedEx, Office Depot).
- Apply postage to outgoing mail and process outgoing UPS shipments.
- Perform general clerical duties such as data processing, file maintenance, and invoice processing.
- Assist with administrative support : scheduling appointments, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain a focus on safety and proper procedures.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office.
- Provide excellent customer service internally and externally.
- Follow up with customers as necessary.
- Assist with mail distribution, package deliveries, and general office support tasks.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word , Excel , and PowerPoint .
- Strong typing and computer skills.
- 4-7 years of administrative or mailroom experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to lift and turn up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage tasks efficiently.
