PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (Night Shift)

Responsibilities Support safety, health, and environmental rules and lead by example Ensure product quality meets internal and external specifications Ensure team maintain and operate equipment following procedures and best practices as defined in the control plan Conduct process and product audits according to the work instructions Confirm changeovers are following proper set‑up procedure according to work instructions Lead the team to be labor efficient during the entire shift and during any type of troubleshooting Communicate concerns, improvements and general information to the Area Manager Efficiently communicate when there is a troubleshooting and problem solving of manufacturing problems in the operations Provide support to the process improver and line leader in pursuit of continuous improvement Fulfill assignments/tasks given by Area Manager Actively participate in area problem solving teams and other groups as necessary to achieve production goals. Review inventory and schedule. Plan and communicate production needs to the team to ensure all production requirements are met and ensure a good pass down before each shift. Provide training and guidance to team members according to procedures and best practices to achieve short and long-term goals. Coordinate 5S and housekeeping duties to maintain high standard of facility cleanliness. Audit employee time records and correct as needed using UltiPro. Administer coaching and progressive discipline as needed in compliance with the facility work rules. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize objectives and targets to meet deadlines. Self‑motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Safety and goal oriented. Demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated personal computer skills. Desired Qualifications 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing. Automotive glass experience.
