Electrical Estimator & Project Manager

Location: Carnegie, PA
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator & Project Manager to join our team.

This is a hands-on role combining electrical estimating, project management, customer communication, and field coordination . You will be involved from the initial RFQ and estimate through project completion, helping ensure projects are accurately priced, properly planned, and delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, bids, quotes, and proposals using Accubid.

• Review drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.

• Perform material takeoffs and obtain vendor/subcontractor pricing.

• Visit customer and job sites as needed.

• Manage projects, schedules, costs, materials, field personnel, and subcontractors.

• Serve as a primary customer contact.

• Manage change orders, invoices, and project documentation.

• Identify and resolve project issues proactively.

• Support improvements to estimating and project management processes, SOPs, and project tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical industry experience , preferably in commercial electrical contracting.

• Experience with electrical estimating and/or project management.

• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, materials, and installation practices.

• Ability to read electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

• Working knowledge of NEC and applicable local codes .

• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and estimating software.

• Accubid experience preferred.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer and job sites.
