Make a difference, come join the team!Location/Region: Position requires you to live within the Allentown, PA and surrounding area.Here's what you'll do:Engage in a comprehensive ~3 month in field and classroom training program to ensure you have the skills and tools to be successful.Once trained, you will travel to customer sites in your region to Install, Repair, Troubleshoot, Service and Calibrate the most advanced measuring instruments in the world.Work hands on to learn new skills on high tech CMM's (Coordinate Measuring Machines) utilizing mechanical and electronic aptitude.Document service work and maintain accurate service records.Work independently while representing the company in a fast-paced and innovative environment.Why Field Service Techs like this role:Company Vehicle provided that you can take home.Tools, Training, travel expenses and gas card provided.Each day is different - Travel to a wide variety of customers, locations and challenges; 70-90% travel in your region.Supportive company culture that values field service technicians.Great place to grow your skills and career with rapid promotion opportunities after training.What we are looking for:Minimum, High School graduate, completed GED or equivalent.Or, Tech School, associate, or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as, Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, and the like.Or, Training and experience from a Military Technical School.Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.Microsoft operating system knowledge is required.Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 75 pounds.Able and willing to work minimum of 50 hours per work week.
