Assistant General Manager – Restaurant | Brooklyn, NY

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at a high-volume, fast-paced full-service restaurant in Brooklyn. This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving strong operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations

• Lead FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service, consistency, and hospitality standards

• Drive execution of service standards, training programs, and team accountability

• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and cost control initiatives

• Monitor food quality, guest satisfaction, and service recovery when needed

• Support inventory management, ordering, and vendor communication

• Help manage hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Step in as Manager-on-Duty as needed across all shifts

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop teams

• Solid understanding of P&L, labor controls, and operational KPIs

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting

• Hands-on leadership style with a floor-first mentality
