Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide ongoing shift coverage at a Hospital in Pennsylvania. This position offers clean 12-hour shift blocks with an excellent support structure and zero call obligations. The facility is actively scheduling through the end of 2026.

Must indicate which of the following specific dates the provider can accommodate:

• August Block: 8/7 (6am), 8/13 (6pm), 8/14 (6am), 8/14 (6pm), 8/15 (5am), 8/16 (6am)
• September Date: 9/27 (6am)
• October Block: 10/24 (6am), 10/25 (6am)
• November Block: 11/6 (6am), 11/21 (6am), 11/22 (6am)
• December Block: 12/6 (6am), 12/19 (6am)

• Average Daily Census (ADC): 44 patient visits per 24 hours.
• Provider Staffing Model: Single physician coverage split into clear 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM 6:00 AM .
• Mid-Day Mid-Level Support: 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on-site daily from 11:00 AM 9:00 PM.
• Nursing & Ancillary Staffing: 2 RNs floor-coverage around the clock, supplemented by a dedicated Triage RN during peak mid-day hours.
• Robust ancillary team including Respiratory Therapists, Float RNs, Nursing Supervisors, and a dedicated Nurse Manager.
• Specialty Notes: No Labor & Delivery unit on site. In the rare event of an imminent delivery, emergency stabilization is performed followed by an immediate transfer to Conemaugh Health System once the patient is stable.

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) Only in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM). EM Boarding is strictly required by the facility.
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License in hand.
• Background: Clean malpractice background and NPDB history are heavily preferred for fast-track processing.
