Communications SpecialistLocation: Plano, TXStaffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices and appliances located in Plano, TX.Responsibilities:Execute PR strategies and plans for the mobile business units and its productsLead day-to-day management of key external partnersMaintain relationships with top tier, influential consumer tech and lifestyle mediaIdentify interesting story angles about the full mobile ecosystem and secure stories that have high potential to attract strong media coverageTake an open-ended mandate and give it analysis and structure, culminating in a concrete set of PR objectives and a clear way to achieve themCollaborate with US and Global offices and business groups in Korea and USProvide support/management of outside agenciesMonitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basisAssist in and if needed direct the team in lab and field trials related to introduction of products sold to the customerRequirements:Bachelor's degree in related field requiredMinimum of 7 years of experience leading successful PR strategies is requiredExperience leading PR strategies in consumer technology products and services is preferredMust possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skillsAbility to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently with little or no direction; strong decision-making skills and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priority projects and deadlinesExcellent time management, organizational, and project management skills requiredMust be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)This role is required to travel up to 15%Staffmark talent working with this client receive competitive compensation and a great benefits package!
