Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of individuals in pediatric, adult, and elder demographics using both standardized measures and observational assessments.
• Design individualized treatment protocols that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Offer personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on improving communication, language skills, fluency, voice qualities, and swallowing functions.
• Work alongside physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to build integrated therapeutic strategies.
• Provide valuable education to patients and their families to ensure continuity of progress outside the clinic.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring seamless care throughout the patient journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation conforming to the required state, federal, and institutional standards.
• Invest in continual professional growth by remaining informed of advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and team interactions.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
