Job Description:

The client is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise MDM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions within a large Health and Human Services environment.

The selected consultant will serve as the technical lead for MDM architecture, metadata management, data integration, identity resolution, reference data governance, and enterprise data quality initiatives. This role will work closely with Enterprise Information Management (EIM) teams, data architects, business analysts, healthcare program stakeholders, and IT leadership to establish trusted master data solutions supporting agency-wide analytics and operational processes.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Informatica MDM, Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Metadata Manager, enterprise ETL architecture, healthcare data integration, and master data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Master Data Management Architecture

• Design and implement enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.

• Architect and maintain trusted master data environments.

• Design identity resolution, matching, and survivorship strategies.

• Implement governed reference data management solutions.

• Support enterprise-wide master data governance initiatives.

• Develop MDM solutions for:

  • Healthcare Provider Domains

  • Managed Care Member Domains

  • Enterprise Reference Data Domains

Informatica Architecture & Development

• Design and implement Informatica MDM solutions using the Informatica technology stack.

• Develop and maintain Informatica PowerCenter custom solutions.

• Implement and support Informatica Metadata Manager architecture.

• Design metadata acquisition and metadata management processes.

• Develop ETL/ELT workflows and integration processes.

• Support Informatica platform upgrades and enhancements.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise development and security standards.

Data Integration & Data Modeling

• Design and implement enterprise data integration solutions.

• Develop ETL processes integrating:

  • Oracle Databases

  • Snowflake Platforms

  • Healthcare Systems

  • Enterprise Applications

• Create and maintain logical and physical data models.

• Work with Erwin and ERStudio modeling tools.

• Support metadata management and business lineage initiatives.

AI Prompting & Data Innovation

• Develop AI-assisted master data retrieval and analysis strategies.

• Create standardized AI prompt libraries for reporting and analytics.

• Validate AI-generated outputs and identify hallucination risks.

• Promote AI-driven data management capabilities.

• Support responsible AI adoption across business functions.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Collaborate with EIM teams, Data Architects, Program SMEs, and IT leadership.

• Provide guidance on MDM architecture, governance, and best practices.

• Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

• Support multiple concurrent enterprise projects.

• Mentor technical teams and support knowledge transfer initiatives.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.

• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Education:

• Bachelor\'s Degree Required.

• Master\'s Degree Preferred.

Certifications:

• Informatica MDM Certification preferred.

• Informatica PowerCenter Certification preferred.

• CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) preferred.

• DAMA Data Governance Certification preferred.

• Snowflake Certification preferred.
