Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

$2570.40/week -

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to OB/GYN patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. Oversees and coordinates nursing activities within the OB/GYN specialty, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients health status by collecting relevant data and analyzing clinical information.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs and promote health.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families to coordinate effective care delivery.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring safety and compliance with policies.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately within the electronic health record system.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of two years recent experience in OB/GYN nursing or a related field.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification from an approved vendor is required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrates strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work night shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling requirements.
  
  
• 
  EPIC EMR experience is required for this position.
