Machine Assistant

Role Overview Join Amcor as a Machine Assistant and play a key role in producing high‑quality products that protect what’s important. You will be part of a team that ensures safety and quality standards are met and contributes to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Schedule Shift: 12 hours; Monday – Thursday & every other Friday; Nights 7 pm – 7 am. Compensation Pay: $19‑$21 per hour + $1.50 per hour night shift premium. Ensure jobs run in accordance with customer, manufacturing, and printing specifications. Maintain quality compliance of products by verifying they are free of defects. Work with operators to maximize machine efficiency, including minimizing job changeovers and downtime. Maintain cleanliness in the work area during shift and shift transitions. Qualifications Ability to read, understand, and follow customer specifications. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software. Required visual acuity to perform visual inspections and identify colors. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand for long periods (steel‑toed shoes required). Perform climbing, crouching, and reaching.
