We collaborate closely with developers, quants, researchers, and front-office trading teams to ensure our platform provides a best-in-class development experience.What You'll DoWe're looking for a Cloud Platform / Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure that enables teams across the firm to deploy workloads safely and reliably at scale.Design cloud-native architecture solutions grounded in the pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost OptimizationBuild CI/CD pipelines for reliable deploymentsEstablish infrastructure-as-code practices that make our systems reproducible and auditableWork closely with software engineers to ensure our cloud platforms are secure, scalable, and operationally excellentUse AI and other automation to increase teams’ visibility into their cloud costs and migration onto strategic infrastructureHelp teams understand risks and plan for proper business continuityBeyond immediate delivery, you'll help define platform infrastructure best practices that scale across the firm's broader cloud-native footprintWhat You BringStrong AWS expertise - VPC architecture, IAM, EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, networking, and data lake architecturesHands-on experience with Kubernetes, including designing container architectures for multi-tenant workloadsStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, with Python and/or Bash for tooling and automationProficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, plus GitOps workflows and CI/CD platforms (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Proficiency with Observability tooling similar to Datadog/Prometheus/GrafanaBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 3+ years (or a Master's degree with 2 years) in a cloud/infrastructure/DevOps engineering roleTechnical leadership - ability to drive architectural decisions and mentor others, with strong communication and problem-solving skillsA desire to deliver cutting edge infrastructure in a fast-moving environment, with a commitment to staying current on cloud-native infrastructure, container security, and workload deploymentSalary RangeMillennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
