Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location : Metro Detroit Area, Michigan
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team. This full-time role supports a caseload of approximately 40 students, providing essential therapeutic services that help students succeed in their educational environments.
Student Population:
The primary population served includes students with :

Early Childhood Developmental Disorders
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Other Health Impairments (OHI)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
Conduct evaluations and develop therapy goals and intervention plans
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Current Michigan OT license (or eligibility)
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Experience working with ASD, ECDD, or OHI populations is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
