The primary purpose of your position is to efficiently and timely schedule resident medical appointments and transportation. Maintain the ancillary services correspondence for the residents. This position is supervised by the Director of Nursing Services and may include taking direction as needed from the Administrator, Department Heads and/or nurse managers/supervisors.

Some responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Schedule/reschedule appointments.

2. Schedule transports per payor source.

3.Communicate with resident's responsible party regarding attending appointments and coordinating ride with responsible party if able.

4. Communicate with Nursing Scheduler if C.N.A is needed to accompany on the appointment.

5. Update the appointment calendar on the shared drive as needed.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

3. Ability to communicate in a kind and courteous manner.

4. Must have excellent customer service skills. 

5. Medical terminology experience is preferred
