Trailbound Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time role at our outpatient clinic in Winchester, Virginia. Work Environment

The work setting for this role is onsite within our home care facility, located in the scenic Winchester region of Virginia. This environment allows for hands-on care and enables our therapists to build meaningful relationships with our patients, enhancing their treatment plans. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent and structured work schedule conducive to maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay up-to-date with state practice acts to adhere to legal guidelines while providing therapy services.

• Conduct thorough examinations, evaluations, and develop customized treatment plans addressing functional limitations and disabilities of each patient.

• Perform detailed assessment services to review patient history, execute specific assessments, and provide extensive documentation of results, ensuring accurate patient records.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to evaluation findings and patient needs, adapting to changes in healthcare practices.

• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care, recognizing and effectively responding to changes in patient conditions.

• Manage appropriate discharge planning and follow-up processes, ensuring comprehensive documentation of treatment and progress throughout the patient's care journey.

• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to team efforts aimed at improving access to care and measuring quality indicators.

• Maintain compliance with corporate and clinical training requirements, as well as state, local, and federal regulations, to uphold industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Trailbound, you will engage with patients at various stages of their rehabilitation journeys, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet their specific needs while ensuring a compassionate approach at all times.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.

• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating proficiency in patient evaluation and treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
