Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts | Start Time 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Projected Start: 06/29/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care for patients in the Operating Room, including ortho, neuro, plastics, ENT, and robotics cases, utilizing the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assess patient and family learning needs; provide education and identify appropriate resources to support care.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to effectively manage clinical situations.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or a valid Compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Operating Room or surgical nursing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ortho, neuro, plastics, ENT, and robotic surgical cases.
