Bridge Engineer

Burgess & Niple is looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our team in our Mentor, Akron, or Erie office. Responsibilities Preparing technical designs on transportation projects Mentoring/coaching junior staff on transportation design Developing unique and complex solutions to bridge problems for projects and pursuits Meeting with clients with CSMs in developing scopes and fees Managing tasks and technical designs on projects Working with other offices in future pursuits and projects Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program PE registration is preferred 5-10 years of related bridge design experience Good communication skills, organization skills, team player, and detail oriented Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD plan development Strong interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, age, national origin, disability status, marital status, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
