Annual salary for full-time positions ranges from $301,476 to $310,800 , with the possibility of additional incentives reaching up to $22,010*. Options for reduced schedules with prorated pay may also be available. *Some incentive figures are estimates based on potential premium compensation.

We are in search of a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to become a part of our team in Santa Clara. While expertise in subspecialties such as inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, or motility is appreciated, it is not a requirement for this general pediatric gastroenterology position. Clinical duties will involve both inpatient and outpatient consultations, as well as diagnosing and managing a wide array of pediatric gastrointestinal disorders. Outpatient services will include in-person, video, and telephone consultations at the Santa Clara Medical Center and its satellite clinics, catering to patients throughout the South Bay. Additionally, proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, pH/impedance tracing analysis, and video capsule endoscopy is essential.

The Santa Clara Medical Center features a 26-bed Level III NICU, a 24-bed pediatric ward, and a 7-bed PICU, all staffed around the clock by pediatric hospitalists and intensivists. You will be joining a collaborative team of pediatric subspecialists that covers the full spectrum of pediatric care, supported by dedicated case managers, registered dietitians, social workers, embedded child psychologists, child life specialists, and experienced support personnel.

In addition to strong local collaboration, you will be integrated into a regional network of 14 pediatric gastroenterologists across Northern California. The ideal candidate will possess a team-oriented approach, excellent clinical and communication skills, and a passion for advancing pediatric gastroenterology care within a supportive and innovative environment.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and possess or be able to obtain an active medical license in California. Comfort in providing both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as performing procedures, is necessary. A willingness to teach medical students and residents rotating through our clinics, along with a collaborative and collegial spirit, is essential.
