We are looking for a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Palliative Care physician to become a part of our dedicated team. This role involves delivering compassionate, family-oriented care to infants, children, adolescents, and their families who are dealing with serious, chronic, or life-limiting conditions. Key responsibilities include managing symptoms, facilitating discussions about care goals, and assisting families in navigating complex medical decisions. The physician will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that consists of a nurse practitioner, child life specialist, social workers, and a chaplain, providing care across inpatient, outpatient, and hospice environments.

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from $281,339 to $290,040, with additional potential incentives of up to $33,250* . Options for reduced schedules with prorated compensation may also be available. *Some incentive figures are estimates based on potential premium pay.

The medical center features a 26-bed Level III NICU, a 24-bed pediatric ward, and a 7-bed PICU, all staffed around the clock by pediatric hospitalists and intensivists . You will be part of a collaborative pediatric subspecialty team that encompasses the full range of pediatric care, supported by dedicated case managers, registered dietitians, social workers, embedded child psychologists, child life specialists, and experienced support personnel.

In addition to strong local collaboration, you will join a regional network of palliative care physicians throughout Northern California. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical judgment, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to guide families through challenging healthcare situations with compassion and professionalism.
