Staff Accountant

We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who has a strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and wants to continue developing their technical skills. This position offers significant exposure across the accounting function and a clear opportunity to advance quickly into a Senior Accountant role based on performance and development. What You’ll Do: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Support general ledger accounting and financial reporting Analyze account activity and investigate variances Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules Help maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP Support audit requests and financial reporting requirements Partner with senior accounting and finance leadership on special projects Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and procedures What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, or month-end close preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Someone who is motivated to grow, take on additional responsibility, and advance within the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Kellogg Staffing
