Buyer/Planner

Protect-All is a leader in flexible packaging and specialty films, serving a wide range of industries including food packaging, industrial applications, and graphic films. We’re looking for a Buyer / Planner to support our operations by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to keep production running smoothly. You’ll work closely with production, sales, and R&D to ensure materials are available, schedules run smoothly, and customers are served on time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating across teams—and is looking to grow in a manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do Plan and purchase raw materials (films, resins, adhesives) Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery Support production scheduling (extrusion, lamination, slitting) Create and manage purchase orders and work orders in ERP systems Analyze demand, forecasts, and usage trends Assist with new product setup and costing Identify cost savings and alternative sourcing opportunities. What We’re Looking For - We are open to both entry-level and experienced candidates. Early Career Candidates: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Strong Excel and analytical skills Interest in manufacturing or operations Experienced Candidates: 3+ years in purchasing, planning, or supply chain Manufacturing experience preferred ERP/MRP system experience (BOMs, routings, inventory planning) Preferred (Not Required) Experience in flexible packaging, plastics, or converting Knowledge of roll-to-roll processes (extrusion, coating, lamination, slitting) APICS or similar certification Why Join Protect-All?
