Conference Services Manager (Events / Banquets / Hospitality) - Full-Time

Description Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Conference Services Manager and lead the planning and execution of group events, conferences, and banquets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment and excels at coordinating details, managing client relationships, and delivering seamless events. Position Details Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends based on events) Department: Sales & Catering / Events Serve as the primary point of contact for group and conference clients Plan, coordinate, and execute events from booking through completion Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes Collaborate with internal departments (F&B, operations, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless execution Upsell event enhancements including menus, themed events, activities, and additional services Maintain accurate event details in systems such as Amadeus, Versa, and Sales & Catering platforms Communicate event timelines and requirements to all stakeholders Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and resolve issues as they arise Support revenue growth through client engagement and service excellence Requirements College degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in conference services, event management, or hotel/resort operations Prior supervisory experience in food & beverage or banquet operations preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and client management abilities Experience with systems such as Amadeus, Versa, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Valid driver’s license required Work Environment Indoor resort and event spaces Fast-paced, event-driven environment Flexible schedule based on business and event needs About Lake Lawn Resort Located on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort is a premier destination for conferences, events, and group experiences.
