Sous Chef-Full Time

Bistro 67 at The Belfry House is seeking a talented, dependable, and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team in a full-time, salaried position . This is an opportunity to work closely alongside Executive Chef Eric Feldbush , supporting the day-to-day culinary operations of Bistro 67 while contributing to menu development, food quality, kitchen organization, and the continued growth of our dining program. Work directly alongside Executive Chef Eric Feldbush in daily kitchen operations Assist with preparation and execution of Bistro 67 dinner service Maintain consistency, quality, presentation, and proper portioning of all dishes Assist with menu development, seasonal specials, and new dish creation Oversee kitchen operations and service in the Executive Chef's absence Help lead, train, and support culinary team members Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards Assist with ordering, inventory management, product rotation, and minimizing food waste Ensure proper organization and cleanliness of kitchen and prep areas Monitor product quality and communicate purchasing or inventory needs Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and properly paced service Assist with private dinners, special events, and other culinary experiences at The Belfry House as needed What We're Looking For Previous professional kitchen experience required Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or similar leadership experience preferred Strong cooking fundamentals and attention to detail Ability to execute dishes consistently in a quality-driven environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Understanding of food safety, sanitation, inventory, and kitchen operations Ability to remain organized and composed during service Dependable, collaborative, and willing to lead by example Passion for seasonal ingredients, thoughtful food preparation, and continued culinary development Position Details Full-Time | Salaried Position The Sous Chef will work closely with Executive Chef Eric Feldbush and play an important role in the daily operation and continued development of Bistro 67’s culinary program.
