divh2Quality Technician I/h2pCadrex is searching for a Quality Technician I to directly support our manufacturing practices through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts, principles, and methodologies with the goal of consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations of quality./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliRelease product for shipping by ensuring proper documentation/certifications are provided as outlined by customer requirements/liliUnderstand and apply basic GDT concepts/liliProficient in dimensional verification of PPAP and first article parts/liliProvide direct support to the production floor by assisting with interpretation/development of manufacturing related documentation and providing or teaching proper measuring techniques/liliProvide technical inspection of manufactured and raw materials at receiving as outlined by the process/liliCollect data, evaluate, and present quality metrics/liliProgram and operate FARO Micro-Vu measurement equipment proficiently/liliAttend department meetings as required/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulli1+ years working preferably in a metal fabrication environment under a continuous improvement QMS with hands on inspection or an equivalent combination of education and experience/liliRead and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence/liliEffectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees/liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals/liliAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs/liliKnowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software, and the use of the Internet/liliCertification as a Quality Technician preferred/liliProgramming for FARO and Micro-Vu Measurement Equipment desired/li/ulh3Education/h3ulliAssociate degree in related field preferred/li/ulh3Location/h3ulliOnsite/li/ulh3Schedule/h3ulliM-Th; 4:00pm - 2:30am/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
