The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for providing internal care for delegated medical aspects of care with collaborating physician(s).If you are selected for the position, WAGI is offering a New Hire Incentive Bonus of $10,000 for qualified individuals (must be new hires to the organization and full-time). Details to be discussed.ResponsibilitiesProvides guidance, screening and health education to patients to promote and maintain health within gastroenterology practicePerform comprehensive health assessment including obtaining a complete and accurate health history; performing a complete and accurate physical examinationCollaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patientsProvides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits; maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information; posts tests and examination results; triages patient telephone calls and provides consultationDevelops and implements health promotion, illness/injury prevention and therapeutic plans congruent with the client's diagnosis, health care problem or needQualificationsMaster of Science degree in NursingCurrent Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantActive involvement with professional organizations (ANA, WSNA, AANP, SGNA)Current AANP or ANCC certification or AAPACurrent CPR/BLS CertificationCurrent ACLS CertificationAs a healthcare organization, the candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
